So behind...

Wow, its crazy how far behind on blogging I am. The past month or two has been a little crazy busy. We have been working really hard to get ready for our cruise to Mexico that we are going on in 17 days!! I am so stoked!  I so NEED this week long vacation away from everyone and everything its not even funny! I'll keep you posted when we go!

My last post was about my sisters drill team competition that we were going to. Well we went and it was a blast, but there were so many good teams that my sisters team didn't place in their dances. They did really awesome and I was so proud of them! Next year they are gonna kick but.. I know they will be happy even if they just beat Dixie High School!! lol!

We have been finding new cartoon shows for Ashlynn to watch to help her with her talking. We have found Word World and we LOVE it! It really is a good learning show and teaches them letters and words. Ashlynn spelt PIZZA the other day with it! It was so cute!

I had a new project while we are in SLC for my sisters dance competition. My aunt sue, grandma snow, and cousin came up for the weekend too and we had a 'sewing craft day'. I have never made my own project so it was kinda fun to try to figure out. Thanks for your help Sue! I had fun and it was good to learn something new! Here are a few pics of what we made!

Anyways, guess there really isn't anything else to update on. Next post will probably be Ashlynn's 3rd birthday. I can't believe how big she is getting and growing up so fast!! Hope all is well with everyone! Keep checking back for updates and posts from the cruse too in a couple of weeks!

Tomorrow my sister and her drill team will be competing at state drill team competition in Provo. I will be there cheering them on!!

I am so proud of my sister and how far she has come this year with drill team. I love watching her everytime she dances. Good luck tomorrow Livi Lou! We love you!!

December Update..

Wow.. I am a big slacker on the whole blogging thing lately. Life has been going crazy for us the last month. Ill try to get everything updated in this post so we can be up to date as much as possible...

First of all, here is the final picture from my Kitchen remodel. I forgot to add it from before.

So what do you think? I really like it. I am still trying to decide whether or not I want to distress them or not. I think we will get the hardware and then decide.

Ashlynn had her pictures taken on a virtual backdrop this month. I just got them back and they look awesome! Here are a few of my favorite

About a week before Christmas it decided to rain NON STOP. It started Saturday before Christmas, then come Monday night we started flooding... The next few days were crazy, We were hardly home, I spent most of my time either at the fire station at the EOC we set up or sleeping a little bit that I could at home. I have never see that much water so close to me. It was starting to scare me because I live in a flood plain. I was worried that my house was going to get more water than what it was already getting.. here are a few pics that other people took around the valley. I wasn't able to get out and about because I was having to document everything going on.

This year for Christmas, both kids were gone. Ashlynn went to her dad's and Kody went to his moms. We opened presents the day that they both left and I think they were pretty excited to see what they got. We got a family gift that was a WII. Its pretty fun to play together. I took a few pics but I cant seem to find where I put them so I will have to look for them and add them later.

I hope everyone's holiday was great and I want to wish everyone a Happy New Year! I am excited to see what 2011 is going to bring for me and my family!

Christmas Tree hunting....

This year I really wanted a real tree but we just couldn't find the time to go out and get one. So I set up our fake one and then all of a sudden it worked out that we could go get a real one!! I was so excited! Here are a few pics from when we went to go get one. Ashlynn was pretty excited to go out looking for one too!
