Updating.. sorry for the delay!

Wow, Its been a while since I have updated my blog. I am sorry. I need to be better at it. Its hard to keep up on it now that we are pretty much banned from it at work. Freaking sucks! Starting to hate going to work because we just GET to sit there, no talking to each other, no nothing. Yep, anyways, onto other fun things!

Ashlynn's leg is doing much better. She got the cast off a week or so ago. She still has a limp and you can tell its sore sometimes. We have to wrap it up sometimes for it to not hurt her as much.We also are having to keep up on tylenol and mortin but other than that she is doing great!

The past two weeks I have been busy at canning, once again! We went up to the high school to their garden and picked tonz of tomatoes and peppers and made salsa! WOW! It was hard work! We made 3 batches of salsa, 1 batch of green salsa, and 1 batch of spaghetti sauce. I am so excited to be able to use them this winter. We also did canned some pumpkin for pie filling and just pumpkin to use for anything else. It was a pain, but going to be so worth it! We decided to make pies out of one of the bottles of pie filling and oh my gosh... it was so good! YUM!

We went camping this past weekend. It was so much fun. Sad to say its probably the last time we can go this year. I cant wait til next year so we can go camping again. The weather this weekend was just right. It was still pretty warm at night and no rain. It started to rain here tonight so I am glad we came home last night! Anyways, we went with our good friends Rhett and Brandi. I just have to say, I have so much fun with them. They are great. I love how we can just be ourselves around them and their kids are just stinking cute. Thanks for the fun weekend.

Speaking of Brandi. Her and I have been doing a lot of things together lately. She is so nice and shows me how to make a lot of things I wouldn't have learned to do before she was my friend. Its funny how you just need that one person to help spark your interest in crafty fun things. We have been making bows and bracelets that last few days. Here is a picture of some of the bows I made. They are so easy and Ashlynn loves them! Thanks Brandi for taking the time to help me improve in my craftiness!!

Ty has been working a lot the last few weeks. He pretty much works non stop. I want to tell him thank you for supporting our family. I don't think we could do half the stuff that we do without his hard work. I do miss him though when he's gone all the time. Its hard to be at home by yourself, well not really by yourself but home with a teenager and a 2 year old. I miss him like crazy. I wish there was a way that he could just slow down for a little bit and him and I could get away. Its been a while since I have had a weekend that is just him and I or even a date night that was just him and I. Maybe one day before the end of the year! :)

Well that's about all for now for updates! Sorry it took so long, but no access at work to update my blog and no time at home to get it updated either! Maybe things will start to slow down long enough to keep up... we will see!!

Ashlynn's Leg UPDATE....

So its been almost a week since Ashlynn hurt her leg. She has been doing really good with that big 'ol cast on it. She can get around on it pretty quickly and she doesn't let it bother her either. She still smiles and runs around like normal! We have taken the wrap off a few times to see if she could walk around on it without the cast. She still favors it but I think she will be ok. We have a doctors appointment on Thursday afternoon. Ill let you know what the doctor has to say! Until then, here are a few pics from the last few days....

Ashlynn's Leg....

I dropped Ashlynn off to her dad yesterday for his weekend to spend with her before I went to work. Well 2 hours later he calls me at work and says that he thinks that her leg/foot/ankle area might be broken or sprained. She was rough housing around and jumped off the arm of his couch. Its a little swollen and she can't put pressure on it. He wanted to call her doctor to have her checked out.

At this point my heart sunk to my stomach. I wanted to cry. I left work and told him to meet me at the ER with her so we can get it checked out there then they can do an xray. Wow. We were there for 2 hours, she screamed when they took xrays, she screamed every time the nurses came into the room, and she screamed when they put the cast on. They couldn't tell if it was broken or not because all the little bones in her foot aren't fully grown yet.

So basically we just keep her in the cast for a week and then go to our regular doctor for a check up. Please pray for her to get feeling better. I catch myself every so often crying about it. Its so sad. Ill keep everyone posted!

At this point she didn't want anything to do with me.. I was the "mean" one
