My New Toy....

So Friday night Ty and I went to Cedar City. Ty has been riding his bike around town to help himself loose weight. I haven't been able to go with him because I don't have one. Well, I do now!! Meet my new friend....

Yesterday we went on a 7 mile ride in the morning and then I went halfway around and back last night. Got a total of 10 or so miles in. Yep, you guessed it. I am sore! But its fun to be able to spend time with Ty and get into shape at the same time!

As for my garden, it is coming along rather nicely! Here are a few pics I took this morning!

Date night at the park...

Lately Ashlynn has really loved going to the park. I don't know what it is about the park, but the kids absolutely love it! She loves to go down the slide and swing. She loves to be pushed high on the swing! Anyways, her and I had date night the other night and got a snow cone and went and played at the park. I am hoping soon we get to have our own park at our house because we want to buy a swing set. So if anyone know of someone getting rid of one let me know!

Ashlynn at Splash Pad

So this is a late post, but last week my mom took Ashlynn to the splash pad with my brother. Here are a few pics they took. It looks like they had a blast!!

Today we went to the Veyo Pool. I haven't taken Ashlynn swimming forever so it was nice to be able to go and have some fun. She loved it! We stayed out in the deep end for most of the time, she liked to sit in her horse tube and just have me push her around. She even started jumping off the side of the pool to me. We were there for about an hour, and that was plenty for us! She was tired but I think it was worth the fun we had!! Sorry no pictures from there.. I forgot my camera!

Trip to Dad's

This past weekend Ashlynn and I headed north to Gunnison to visit my family. We got up Friday morning and loaded the four wheeler, yes I am sad that we had to take it back but dad needed it back! lol! Thanks for letting us borrow it dad, Ash and I got lots of riding in :) Anyways, we headed up and got up there in the afternoon. Ashlynn was excited to see everyone, as was I. We hung out at dad's house on Friday night. He had to go to work, but we got to see him for a little bit before he left. He got a new truck a week or so ago. It is PRETTY! 2010 RED Chevy Silverado. Awesome, just no other words for it! MIGHT FINE LOOKING TRUCK!!

Saturday we put on a baby shower for Caitlin. It was fun. We had lots of people there and that kid will be styling in all of her clothes and blankets she got! The food was good too.. we had fruits with a chocolate fountain and subway sandwhiches. That whole day Ashlynn was a little turd. I was so bugged with her. She finally settled down and we got in dad's hot tub and relaxed. It was so nice! Ashlynn loved it, she went under the water a few times, but she didnt even cry. Well later that night as we were all in bed, she started to get a fever. It was bad. I didnt have any meds with me for her. We were up half the night, and the other half we spent sleeping either in the recliner or the bed. It wasnt fun! We were up at 6 AM and then I finally gave her an adult tylenol. Fever finally broke. What a relief!!

Sunday we spent the day with dad.  We went out to Richfield to have Chinese food. It was yummy! We then went back to dad's house and hung out til about 5 when Ash and I decided to head home. It was good to spend time with him on Fathers Day!

Weekend update :)

Wow what a day it has been already and my day has just started! I got a call from work last night, well this morning at 1:30 am, asking for me to come in early. I couldn't fall asleep last night so I took a sleeping pill, well I had only been asleep for an hour or so when Heather called me. I probably sounded so dumb on the phone but oh well. I got to work at 7 am. Nice huh? You ask WHY?

Well, there is a missing 6 year old boy in St George with autism. They can't find him and starting a volunteer search 8 am. So here we sit, 6 of us at 7 am. I am so pooped I can't even tell ya! If anyone has info or wants to help or needs info, click HERE. 

This weekend has been quite exciting in Enterprise. It rained all weekend, which is a change from the wind we have had for the past 2 weeks! Ty left town early Friday morning to go to LA with some of his buddies for the Dodgers Game and to do a few things around LA. I have missed him, its so boring at my house when he isn't there. Ashlynn is also at her dad's, so my house was rather quiet. Here are a couple of pics that he sent me. Sounds like they have been having fun!

Friday night we had a Girls Night at Melinda's house. It was a blast! We played games and ate yummy treats and cowboy salsa til 3 am! We laughed so hard and at times it looked like we all were on drugs.. lol! We really weren't I promise! Thanks girls for the fun night, we MUST do it again soon!

Yesterday was Melinda's daughter Sammy's birthday. We met them in St George for a movie. We went to see Marmaduke, it was so cute! We laughed the whole time! Its a must to see and if your kids like dogs and cats, they need to see it too!! After we headed to Melinda's house and had pizza and cake with them! Hope you had a good birthday Sammy Girl! Thanks for letting us hang out with you all day!! :)

Bad Blogger Lately

I know its been a while since I posted... I have been a busy WoMaN! We had a weekend filled of the usual and I have worked the last 3 days... ya I know... I am suppose to be PaRt - TiMe!! Grrr!! Oh well, I guess it will be nice on my pocket book!

Anyways, I promise I will update with pics soon. We have lots of stuff popping up in our garden the last few days, I am so stoked for the stuff to finally get growing! I also caught my stupid dogs digging up my rose bush in the front yard and chewing my drip line. I have since added a new fence and some more plants, and I am hoping that they don't get to those!

Wednesday Fun...

Yesterday was a really nice day outside. Its starting to feel like Summer, and I am so ready for it! Right after Ashlynn got up yesterday morning she wanted to go outside. We decided to take her little pool outside and fill it up with water. I got so many cute pictures! Later in the afternoon we headed to the elementary school to have a picnic and play on the playground with our friends, the Rupp's! It was so fun! I love Wednesdays!

Memorial Weekend...

Well, I got messages from people about no posting for the new day on Sunday... so I guess I had better post a new one today!! :)

For Memorial Weekend, we stayed at home. Ty was on call all weekend, oh the joys of being Fire Chief... grrr! Anyways, it gave us plenty of time to get our garden planted, which we did Saturday. It was really nice outside, the wind was blowing but it wasn't too bad. We got lots of things done that day, got everything planted except our tomatoes. I was excited! I am so ready for fruits and veggies from my garden! Delicious!
Kody and I went to Susy Randall's funeral. It was a really nice service and I am glad that we went. Later that night, we went over to our friends Adam and Kori's house for dinner and game night. We laughed and played sing star... I must say, us women kicked some men butt!! lol!

Sunday, we both had to work. It was a crazy day in Dispatch, but I made it through! After work, I picked up Ashlynn from her dad's house and we headed out to Gunlock to where my parents were camping to hang out for the night and have dinner with them! Ashlynn had fun! We all played some card games and rode four wheeler. My dad made yummy dutch oven potatoes, venison steaks, chicken, and we had corn. I haven't had venison forever and it was sooooo good!! Here are a few pictures my mom got of all of us. I guess my little brother crashed on his motorcycle too, hit into a tree... Alivia started calling him George of the Jungle!! lol! Love it!

Yesterday we finished up the garden. Got all 20 of our tomato plants planted. Got the water line all installed and giving off enough water to keep all the plants alive! Its so nice to have it done, although my legs are killing me this morning!! lol! When Ty got off of being on call, we headed out to Enterprise Reservoir with Melinda and Curtis and Melinda's family. We had tin foil dinners and roasted marshmallows. It was nice and relaxing! The kids kept playing on the rocks and Ashlynn has a lot of scratches from them, but oh well. When Ashlynn wasn't crying she was having fun! Thanks for letting us come with you Melinda! What a good way to end a long fun weekend!!
