Wow what a weekend!! We left early Friday morning for California for our family vacation. It was a long drive and we made several stops along the way, but after almost 10 hours we made it to our hotel in Anaheim. Here are play by plays for each day.. this will be a long post, I took over 1500 pictures for the while weekend, so happy reading!
Friday:
Left at 0600 am from home. It was nice to not have very much traffic on the roadways. We made it to Las Vegas by 0900 their time. We had to make a couple stops in Vegas to drop some stuff off at our friends families houses then we were back on the road again. We made it California and decided we would get out and stretch our legs for a little bit. We stopped at Calico, a little ghost town in California. It was pretty neat old mining town, we walked around for a couple of hours. Here are a few pictures from Calico...

We left Calico and headed to Anaheim to get to our hotel and relax. We made it got all checked in and unpacked the vehicles and decided we all were way hot so what better way to cool off then by the pool right?!! Yes it was fun!

After swimming we made dinner and decided we would walk to a little shopping mall that was next door. We headed out and all of a sudden saw this little squid looking mascot for a seafood resturaunt.. it was funny I had to take his picture!!
